The incident occurred in Ulster County at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, at the large pavilion at the Cantine Memorial Field Complex in Saugerties.

According to the Saugerties Police, the Malden-West Camp Fire Department and the Saugerties Police Department responded to a reported structure fire in the complex.

Police said the fire department quickly extinguished the fire along the eastern side of the pavilion, saving it from extensive damage.

The juveniles, who were not named due to their ages, were released to a parent with an appearance ticket to appear at Ulster County Probation’s Intake Unit later.
